Centered for Life

Centered for Life is a new CenterPointe program created to bring people in recovery together through ongoing events and activities. It’s all about connection, community, and support along the recovery journey. All events are free and take place at the CenterPointe Campus for Health and WellBeing located at 2202 S. 11th St. Lincoln, NE.

    Every Monday
    4:00-5:00pm

    This group invites participants to use creativity as a tool for healing and self-expression. Through art, writing, and creative activities, members can explore their recovery journey, develop healthy coping strategies, and connect with a supportive community - no creative experience required.

    1st Tuesday of every month
    5:30-6:30pm

    Learn to cook healthy, affordable, and easy meals! Get hands-on in the kitchen and enjoy the dishes you create.

  • Rhythm of Recovery

    2nd Thursday of every month (beginning in July)

    Experience the power of music in recovery. Join us for an evening of connection through rhythm and sound.

    4th Tuesday of every month (beginning in July)

    Join us at Recovery Movie Meetups, where film becomes more than entertainment—it becomes
    a path to healing and connection. Through movies about addiction, recovery, and mental health, we facilitate guided group discussions focused on honest conversation, emotional insight, and support. Recovery Movie Meetups are free and take place rain or shine.

  • CenterPointe’s support and therapy groups offer a safe space for people working toward recovery to connect, share experiences, and build skills for lasting wellness. Click the title to learn more about each group.

This project is funded (in part or fully) by Region 5 Systems through opioid settlement remediation funds. These funds, made available through national opioid settlement agreements, support evidence-based initiatives focused on prevention, treatment, recovery support, and harm reduction.
