Dawn Darling (she/he) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Dawn began working in private practice as a mental health therapist in Kearney in 2014. She provides empathic and non-judgmental therapy to all individuals in order to help them experience internal relief, acceptance, and peace. Dawn works with clients struggling with issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, minority stressors, and grief. In addition, Dawn specializes in working with transgender and gender diverse individuals to assist them in their gender journeys. She is a member in good standing of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) and has earned her WPATH GEI certification in order to provide high-quality care. Finally, Dawn founded a transgender support group in Kearney called Chameleons in 2015, which is still going strong.
