Topher Hansen, JD, President/CEO
Topher started his career in healthcare in 1975 when he volunteered to help establish the Drug Crisis Center. In 1977 he became the first paid Director of the Drug Crisis Center. In 1981 he helped establish the School Community Intervention Program and worked as a counselor for what is now CenterPointe.
Topher attended law school from 1982-1985 and had a general trial practice until 1993. He also served on the CenterPointe Board of Directors during this time.
In 1993 Topher served as the first Director of Development and Legal Counsel for CenterPointe. He became Chief Executive Officer in 2000.
Topher has served on numerous local, state, and national committees to develop policies and practices in the delivery of healthcare services focused on mental health, substance use, and primary care. He is currently serving on the Nebraska Association of Behavioral Health Organizations and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing where he serves as Chair of the Audit Committee.
