The CenterPointe Person-Centered Trauma-Informed De-Escalation Training is an affordable, practical training designed for agencies and professionals in helping roles, or anyone working in high-stress, people-focused environments such as government services, education, healthcare, and customer-facing industries. This training emphasizes prevention first, teaching staff how to reduce tension and avoid crises by using a person-centered and trauma-informed approach in their daily interactions. Participants will learn how the autonomic nervous system responds to stress and trauma, how trauma impacts everyone involved in escalated situations, and how to intervene effectively using the crisis cycle. We also incorporate postvention strategies to help teams reflect, learn, and continually improve their response processes. This training equips your staff with the tools to create safer, calmer environments while strengthening confidence and skills to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Training Options:
- 2-hour training for up to 50 staff for $400 per session
- 4-hour training for up to 50 staff for $800 per session
- If you only have a few staff members who need training, they’re welcome to join CenterPointe’s staff trainings for $40 per person
Trainings can be held at our Campus for Health and WellBeing in Lincoln, or our trainers can come to your facility. Available in Omaha and Lincoln.
